There was no moon over the Rann that night. Something was still carrying a light across the ground.
We were driving back from Dhordo when the driver stopped and told us to look, but not to walk towards it. Far off was a yellow light, just above the ground, moving like someone carrying a lantern.
When we stopped, it stopped. When we walked forward, it kept exactly the same distance. The driver said people here know about it, and that was all he would say.
