Four people were walking in the fog. They cast five shadows.
The evening fog had come down and our headlights made a white wall in front of us. Ahead, four people were walking along the edge of the road.
The light threw their shadows onto the fog. Five of them. The fifth was the tallest, and when the four turned off the road, it kept walking straight ahead with nobody casting it.
